Trade Commissioner of Chile in Guangzhou Visited GZAC
Recently, Mr. Gonzalo Rubilar, Trade Commissioner of Chile in Guangzhou along with his delegation, visited the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (hereinafter referred to as GZAC). Mr. Li Minshen, Vice President of GZAC, led the team in offering a warm welcome, and the two parties engaged in discussions on deeper collaboration.
Mr. Rubilar highlighted that Chile was the first South American country to establish diplomatic relations with China and the first Latin American nation to sign a free trade agreement with China. The strong economic and trade ties between the two countries present significant opportunities for deeper collaboration. He expressed his hope for enhanced cooperation in the future to offer better legal services and protections for businesses from both nations, thereby elevating China-Chile economic and trade relations to new heights.
Vice President Li Minshen emphasized the long-standing friendship between China and Chile, noting that Chile and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area share similarities in industrial structure while also complementing each other’s strengths, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation. Vice President Li proposed the establishment of a regular communication mechanism, aiming at exploring new models of legal services and contributing to the sustained, healthy development of China-Chile economic and trade relations.
Also present at the meeting were Ms. Li Tiantian, Commercial Assistant at the General Directorate of Export Promotion and Chilean Consulate General in Guangzhou, and personnel from relevant departments at GZAC.
